What is a Fund IRV?

A Fund IRV is a Hedge Fund Investor Relations Video. We call it Fund IRV for short.

A Fund IRV is available to any hedge fund, anywhere in the world. This is a custom produced and edited video, shot on location at a fund's offices and in a studio, of the manager(s) and other key personnel discussing the highlights of their fund and why an investor should participate in the fund. This Fund IRV "markets" all of the major highlights of an investment in an easy to view video format that is placed online on Hedgefund.net and a fund's existing web site.

In addition to a full video, each Fund IRV contains video segments that in essence are single subject "bite-size" sections of the full investor pitch that run anywhere from 1-4 minutes in length. The purpose of these video segments are to allow an investor to just see the information he is interested in viewing instead to forcing an investor to sit through a complete pitch.

Who creates these Fund IRVs?

Hedge Video is responsible for the Fund IRV turn-key solution. Hedge Video specializes in a variety of video types specifically for the hedge fund industry. To learn more about us, click on the Hedge Video link at the top of this page.

How much does a Fund IRV cost?

Fund IRVs are priced affordably and based on the locale of the film shoot. We have 4 different "zones." The United States / Canada, United Kingdom, European Union and Asia / Far East. Depending on which zone you are in affects the costs involved with production and post-production and therefore affects the price. But typically prices start in the $2500 range (US based funds). For firms that opt for a yearly subscription with quarterly updates, prices run about $6-8k per year. All Fund IRVs are paid for in advance due to the commitments and overhead involved in the film production process.

"OK, our fund definitely wants a Fund IRV, what do we have to do?"

Simple. Just fill out and fax back an Order Form or contact Hedge Video at (646) 797-3226 to get started. After payment has been settled, the next steps involve setting up a date for your shoot, and establishing a general schedule and agenda for the shoot and the topics which will be covered. We grab some basic additional information, and have you send us a copy of your pitch book. That's it. We take care of the rest. The only thing you have left to do is show up on the day of the shoot and bring your brain. It also helps if you look your best, after all investors will be watching this video time and time again.

After the shoot we take care of everything. All the editing, and all the technology work involved in putting it on HedgeFund.net and the web. All you have to do is review the final product for errors and ommissions.

What if I want my video on CD or DVD to hand out to investors?

No problem. We offer all kinds of optional packages to go with your Fund IRV from CD-ROMs to Video iPods. To learn more about these optional packages, click on the "Optional Packages" link at on the right.

How long does it take to get a Fund IRV?

Delivery takes two weeks from the completion of your shoot. This means that within two weeks of finishing your video shoot, we will have all of your video edited, finalized and uploaded onto HedgeFund.net. Then we work with your IT staff to upload the video components to your site. This process is simple and painless.
